I’ve just written a lengthy description of what n0tice is, why we’re doing it and where we hope it goes. It includes a bit of background on how it got started and then walks through how it works including a few lessons learned on the path, so far.

    It might be complementary with what we’re doing with a hyperlocal information source for community economic development. As you may read from our work on localism we advocate that each community needs

    A comprehensive, easily accessible information source about all of its currently available local resources

    An extended national and global information resource base to facilitate locating and sharing of resources

    Resources for creation of community funding enterprises for profit, with profits to be applied to social needs in addition to private wealth creation

    Yours might be the second level, the national information resource
