Other people may tweet it, facebook it, link to it on blogs and generally pass it around the internet. We don’t have control over it’s journey, and, in fact, we actively encourage the spread of things posted on n0tice.

Does n0tice make money from my posts?
We will not sell what you post to n0tice. Instead n0tice makes money by selling advertising, and often that actually means taking a small percentage of the advertising revenue earned by n0tice users who successfully build communities on their own noticeboards. When you post to a noticeboard you are helping to build that community and hopefully to support the noticeboard owners in your local area.

Are my posts copyrighted?
You or the owner of the content you post on n0tice still own the copyright in the content posted here.

It’s important to read the Terms and Conditions to understand what rights you grant us by posting on n0tice. In other words, we are going to do our best to make sure things you post spread far and wide. If you want to control what happens to something you’ve created then you may want to just post a headline, URL and thumbnail on n0tice. It’s also very important that you only post what you have rights to distribute.

How should n0tice be used with my blog?
Feedback to date suggests that n0tice can be very effective as an open community space while a blog or news site can be a more controlled and carefully tended broadcast space.

The combination of voices on the ground reporting raw information about what’s happening around them and the analytical, edited, curated approach to a blog or news web site can be very powerful.

What do you do with my personal details?
Your n0tice account personal infomation is protected by a password for your privacy and security. The way data and privacy is dealt with at n0tice is laid out in full in the Privacy Policy which we recommend you read in full.
