To get started on this, we’ll take it that you are logged in and have focussed on your location.
In the white toolbar at the top of the you’ll see a cross and the words ‘create a new noticeboard.’ Clicking there will take you to some further information and some examples of other people’s noticeboards. The first thing to do is choose a name for your noticeboard – that will become your URL so it’s best to keep it short. Try it out in the white box then click the blue ‘create’ button when you are ready.
The next screen shows you how you can personalise your noticeboard with options for layout, theme, font etc. on the left but first some basic information is needed. Once you’ve completed this take some time to explore the personalisation options to get your noticeboard set up.
Being a noticeboard owner also gives you access to some tools to manage your space. You’ll see there’s a space that keeps track on any revenue you’ve earned, an area called ‘moderation’ where anything that’s been flagged by a user will be highlighted for you to review and a place to asign administration rights to other people if you’re working in a team.
